Adam Richards Architects has designed a custom-built barge on the Grand Union Canal, which will provide a unique setting to a new London restaurant, The Cheese Barge. The roof of the barge was installed by Roles Broderick Roofing Limited, using Traditional textures copper patina on Standing Seam & Interlocking panels. This material choice not only enhances the visual depth of the barge but also responds sensitively to its urban context, catching the light and weathering naturally over time.
Metal Solutions Ltd offers an exceptional alternative to traditional natural metals such as Zinc, Copper, and Corten Steel for cladding and roofing in a wide range of construction applications. Our Traditional Textures precoated aluminium not only captures the vivid color pigments found in natural metals but also replicates the natural weathering process they undergo, resulting in a consistently attractive finish.
