SNAPLOCK® SEAM SYSTEM

The Snaplock® Seam system can be laid on a ventilated timber substrate, metal profile panel, hard metal board, composite panel or direct on insulation, using special warm roof fixing clips. Snaplock® is much simpler and requires less skill / hand tools than the traditional standing seam.

Seams are available in 25mm / 38mm formats, in GreenCoat PLX, copper, stainless steel or precoated aluminium and can be supplied with all the necessary traditional flashings and accessories.

The Snaplock® system from Metal Solutions is an evolution of the traditional hard metal roofing system. The Snaplock® system reduces on-site time and associated processes thanks to a quick installation process. Professionally manufactured off-site, it can be delivered in project specific tray lengths, reducing waste and scrap generated using other techniques. The simplicity of the system makes for a straightforward installation.

The Snaplock® system can be provided as a complete roof kit including all flashings, matching rainwater products and ancillaries. It is suitable for both roof and façade applications.

The Snaplock standing seam system is an evolution of the traditional hard metal system, offering all the same benefits with quick installation and less time needed on-site.

Seams are available in 25mm or 38mm formats

As well as the aesthetic reasons for a choice of seam heights, 38mm standing seam is more suitable for lower roof pitches.

SNAPLOCK® SYSTEM INSTALLATION

The Snaplock® profile contains an undercloak and an overcloak – the undercloak side is fixed with a stainless steel fixing clip and the over-cloak side is then simply ‘snapped’ into place.

CWCT Tested

The Snaplock® system is available in a fully CWCT tested configuration, giving specifiers confidence in a proven system. The Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT) sets recognised industry standards for the performance of cladding systems through independent testing and guidance.

The tested Snaplock® assembly represents a complete system build-up, including material, support framework, insulation and fixings, assessed together to reflect real-world performance.

The Snaplock® system can be specified in a range of materials and construction options to suit different project requirements. While these variations offer design flexibility, the CWCT test relates to a defined configuration.
