PowerSeam Solar in a nutshell

PowerSeam is a high efficiency monocrystalline solar module designed to work with standing seam roofing systems. PowerSeam modules are lightweight requiring no extra structural support or fittings. They bond directly to the roof material sitting between standing seams. Wiring is hidden under the roof ridge flashings so panels have minimum impact to your roof design.

PowerSeam modules are supplied as fixed size panels and offer a further option when seeking a discreet solar solution for standing seam roofs usually with shorter delivery times.

Wiring is connected at the roof ridge and incorporated in the initial design stage to ensure connection is hidden. The 1560mm length is suitable for many roof design and can be applied to most standing seam metals by use of a strong weatherproof adhesive.

The stick-on bonding approach can often be a viable retro fit solution for suitably prepared standing seam when wiring can be applied inside the ridge work.

PowerSeam by EDE is a photovoltaic PV system that delivers the advantages of high efficiency monocrystalline modules. The panels are purpose designed to work with standing seam roofing systems. Unlike other solar options, PowerSeam is lightweight requiring no extra structural support or fittings. The fixed sized modules bond directly to the roof material where a standing seam system has been utilised. Solar panel modules sit between the seams with wiring connected in serial, panel to panel, hidden under the roof ridge flashings. ProwerSeam provides reliable performance in a discreet panel that complements the aesthetics of your roof design.

PowerSeam Solar Retains the Benefits of Standing Seam Without Introducing Sealants or Linear Joints

Some solar products can degrade the standing seam integrity by compromising the aesthics, adding otherwise unnecessary linear joints or imposing heavy structural additions for support.

PowerSeam along with our other solar options have been specially selected to work well with fully supported standing seam roofing.

With appropriate preparation and priming, PowerSeam solar panels can be bonded to Aluminium, GreenCoat Colourful Steel, Stainless Steel and Copper. It is also possible to retro-fit PowerSeam solar to existing standing seam roofs with relatively low imapct.
